Let's get in touch
Phone, Zoom or in person
We have been helping our clients by phone, or in person since 2008. All consultations are at no charge to you.
By phone or text
Call or text (856) 727-4221. A text is fine for a first question or to set a time; the comparison itself is easier on a call, with your drug list in front of you.
By Zoom video call
For when you would like to see a face without leaving home. A video call also lets an adult son or daughter in another town join the same conversation.
In person
Jackie meets clients in person in New Jersey. Tell her in the form or by text where and when suits you, and she will arrange it with you.
By email or the form
Write to jackie@gardenstatemedicaresolutions.com or use the form above. Say what you need help with and a good number to reach you, and Jackie will reply.
Bring us your situation
One consultation can cover more than one line, and looking at everything together avoids gaps and paying twice for the same protection. These are the conversations people most often start with.
- Turning 65 or retiring soon. We look at your seven month Initial Enrollment Period, whether to take Part B now, and the two Medicare routes. Original Medicare
- Already on a plan for 2027. We look at your Annual Notice of Change, your doctors and drugs checked against the 2027 plans in your county, before December 7. Medicare Advantage
- Choosing a Medigap letter. We look at Plan G, Plan N and high deductible G priced for your age and ZIP code, inside your six month window. Medicare Supplement
- Paying a lot for prescriptions. We look at every drug priced at your pharmacy on each plan, plus PAAD, Senior Gold and Extra Help screening. Part D drug plans
- Missing dental, vision or hearing cover. We look at what your plan already includes, and whether a stand-alone plan would pay for itself. Dental, vision and hearing
- Worried about hospital copays. We look at your plan's daily hospital copays and yearly maximum, and whether a hospital indemnity policy fits them. Hospital indemnity
- Planning ahead for your family. We look at a final expense benefit sized to the arrangements you want, and the health questions before you apply. Final expense life insurance
- Making savings last. We look at your no-cost Income Strategy Session: income, Medicare costs and Social Security timing on one plan. Income Strategy Session
From your first call to your new coverage
Reaching out does not commit you to anything. Here is how a consultation with Jackie usually goes, whether you are turning 65, reviewing your plan for 2027, or helping a parent.
- A short first call or text. Jackie asks a few simple questions: when your Medicare starts, the coverage you have now, your doctors and hospitals, and the prescriptions you take. That is the "Discover & Strategy" step from her own process.
- You choose how to meet. Telephone, a Zoom video call, or in person. All consultations are at no charge to you.
- A side-by-side comparison. Jackie compares the plans she offers in your county for your doctors and drugs, and explains the trade-offs in plain English: premiums, out-of-pocket limits, networks and the Medigap rules that apply in New Jersey.
- You decide. If you choose a plan, Jackie handles the application and the introduction to the carrier you choose. If you decide to wait, that is fine too.
- A check-in every fall. Plans change each year. Jackie reviews your coverage before the Annual Enrollment Period closes on December 7.
Helping a parent?
Many calls come from adult children. You are welcome on the call, by phone or on Zoom, with your parent there too. It helps to have their Medicare card, the list of their doctors and prescriptions, and their current plan's Annual Notice of Change. If you hold a Power of Attorney, say so; it changes some of the practical steps. The annual review checklist lists what to gather.
Good to know before you call
- Agents are paid by the insurance companies. Your premium is the same whether you enroll with an agent or on your own.
- Never share your Medicare number or Social Security number by text or email. Jackie will only ask for it on a secure application.
- For information on every plan in your area, you can also contact Medicare.gov or 1-800-MEDICARE (TTY 1-877-486-2048).
