Licensing

Garden State Medicare Solutions is an independent insurance agency in New Jersey. Insurance is offered by Jackie Layser, Licensed Medicare Insurance Agent. Licensing details, including her national producer number, are available on request.

What this means: you never have to take our word for it. Anyone can check whether an agent holds an active New Jersey license using the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance Licensee Search.

Serving South Jersey and all of New Jersey. Consultations by phone, Zoom or in person, by appointment. Call or text (856) 727-4221.

Medicare

We do not offer every plan available in your area. Any information we provide is limited to those plans we do offer in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov or 1-800-MEDICARE to get information on all of your options.

Garden State Medicare Solutions is not connected with or endorsed by the United States government or the federal Medicare program. Medicare has neither endorsed nor reviewed this information.

What this means: Medicare rules require agents to tell you that we only show the plans of the companies we are contracted with. There may be other plans in your county. Medicare.gov and 1-800-MEDICARE list every plan, and you are welcome to check our comparison against them.

We are a private business. Medicare did not write, review or approve the guides on this site.

How agents are paid

There is no fee for our help. When you enroll in a plan through us, the insurance company pays the agency a commission. For Medicare plans, commission amounts are limited by federal rules. Your premium is the same whether you enroll through an agent, through the carrier or on your own.

What this means: you can ask us at any time which companies we are contracted with and how we are paid for a plan we suggest, and we will tell you.

Estimates and calculators

Estimates only. Calculator results on this site use published plan-year values and the details you enter. They are not a quote, an offer of coverage, or a determination of eligibility. Final premiums and eligibility are confirmed at enrollment with Medicare or the carrier.

What this means: a calculator result is a starting point for a conversation, not a price. Your own figures can change once a carrier checks your county, age, health answers and tobacco use.

Plan data shown on this site

Plan names, carriers and premiums shown come from the CMS public files for the ZIP code you entered. Final pricing and eligibility are confirmed with the carrier at enrollment.

What this means: Medicare plan details on this site come from the public CMS Landscape files, which list every plan by county. They do not show which doctors are in a network or what your drugs will cost, so always check those two things for the plan you are considering.

Contacting us

This is a solicitation for insurance. Submitting information or calling the numbers listed on this website will direct you to a licensed agent.

What this means: if you send us your details or call, a licensed agent will contact you about insurance. You can ask us to stop at any time and we will.

Final expense, supplemental and annuities

Final expense, annuity and supplemental products are subject to underwriting and carrier approval. Guarantees are based on the claims-paying ability of the issuing company. Nothing on this site is tax, legal or investment advice.

What this means: the insurance company decides whether to offer you a policy and at what price, based on its own health questions. Any guarantee in a life policy or annuity depends on the financial strength of the company that issues it, not on a government program. We do not give investment, tax or legal advice.

Questions or complaints

If something on this site or in your dealings with us does not seem right, call (856) 727-4221 first and we will try to put it right. You can also contact the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance, which licenses and oversees insurance producers in New Jersey: ask for help or file a complaint, or call 1-800-446-7467.

Plan year

Medicare plan figures on this site reflect the 2027 contract year (CMS landscape files); federal Medicare amounts such as the Part B premium reflect 2026 until CMS publishes 2027 amounts. Plan availability, premiums, networks, drug formularies and cost-sharing change every year. Always confirm current-year details before you enroll.

FAQ

Common questions

Is Garden State Medicare Solutions connected to Medicare or the government?

No. Garden State Medicare Solutions is a private, independent insurance agency in New Jersey. It is not connected with or endorsed by the United States government, the federal Medicare program or any state agency.

For information on every Medicare plan in your area, use Medicare.gov or call 1-800-MEDICARE.

How do I verify an insurance agent's license in New Jersey?

Use the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance Licensee Search at www-dobi.nj.gov/DOBI_LicSearch and choose Insurance. Search by the agent's name to see whether the license is active.

You can also ask us for Jackie Layser's national producer number and look it up yourself.

How is my information used?

Only to help you with insurance. Details you send through the contact form go to our agency so a licensed agent can reply. The calculators run in your browser and send nothing, and the plan finder sends only your ZIP code and answers, never your name. We do not sell your information or pass it to lead companies.

The Privacy and cookie policy explains what is collected, which cookies are used and how to change your choices.

Does it cost anything to use this site or to work with Garden State?

No. The guides and calculators cost nothing to use, and there is no fee for a plan review. Insurance companies pay the agency a commission when you enroll, and your premium is the same whether you use an agent or not.

Do you need a consultation?

Tell Jackie about your current situation. Telephone, Zoom or in person, at no cost to you. Call or text (856) 727-4221.
