D-SNP: 5 plans
For people with both Medicare and NJ FamilyCare (New Jersey Medicaid).
Mount Laurel borders Cherry Hill but sits across the county line in Burlington County, which changes the Medicare plan list. Here is that list, starting with the HMO-POS plans.
For a Mount Laurel retiree, 9 organizations file plans in Burlington County for 2027. What separates them for you is network reach toward Cherry Hill and Philadelphia, and the out-of-pocket ceiling if you need a hospital stay.
Examples of plans with drug coverage and a $0 combined monthly premium for Parts C and D, by 2026 star rating and out-of-pocket limit
CMS Medicare Advantage and Part D Landscape, contract year 2027. A plan's fit depends on your doctors and prescriptions; Jackie checks both before you choose.
Mount Laurel has grown from a crossroads village of Lower Evesham into a township of about 46,000 people, and it is older than its county: 20.7% of residents, roughly 9,510 neighbors, are 65 or over, against 18.3% across Burlington County and 17.2% statewide. The median resident is 43.0 years old.
Because the township sits wholly inside Burlington County, every Mount Laurel mailbox draws from the same Burlington County Medicare Advantage list. Cherry Hill is right next door, yet its doctors are listed by plans filed for a different county. That border is the single most useful thing to know before you compare.
How Jackie helps here. Jackie talks with Mount Laurel families by phone, on Zoom or face to face, and she starts with the map: where your primary doctor practices, which hospital you would want in an emergency, and whether those sit in Burlington, Camden or Philadelphia.
20.7% of Mount Laurel residents are 65 or older, against 17.2% for New Jersey, and 3.3% have no health insurance.

The area that was Lower Evesham became its own village, Mount Laurel, in 1872. Farmer’s Hall, built in 1866, served as Town Hall from 1904 to 1969, and the general store held the first post office in 1849. Paulsdale, the childhood home of Alice Paul, is a National Historic Landmark; she was born in Mount Laurel on January 11, 1885, founded the National Woman’s Party and wrote the Equal Rights Amendment.
The township lets any resident aged 55 or older use the rooms at its community center, open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., unless a class or club has booked the space. Residents are invited to suggest field trips, classes and instructors. The municipal building is at 750 Centerton Road (856-234-0001).
For rides, the township points residents to Sen-Han Transit (1-877-603-5111), which carries Burlington County residents who are 60 or older or living with a disability. Call ahead for schedules before you book a specialist across the county line.
The Burlington County Office on Aging, which is also the county’s Aging and Disability Resource Center, works from 795 Woodlane Road in Westampton, weekdays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (609-265-5069, or the statewide line 877-222-3737). For people over 60 it arranges Meals on Wheels (609-702-7053), a weekend meal program, congregate nutrition sites, adult day care, respite care, legal assistance and care management.
Laurel Acres Park, 1045 South Church Street, with entrances on Church Street and Union Mill Road, has a nature trail and jogging paths, a fishing lake and two picnic pavilions with grills. The Elbo Lane Walking Paths at 180 Elbo Lane offer asphalt loops, Rancocas Pointe on Stern Light Drive has a walking path beside its pickleball and tennis courts, and Spencer Park on Rancocas Boulevard gives access to Rancocas Creek.
Willow Turn has six pickleball courts, Canterbury Park on Dorchester Road a combined basketball and pickleball court, and Memorial Park on Mount Laurel Road holds the township’s 9/11 memorial.
The Mount Laurel Library is at 100 Walt Whitman Avenue, across the street from the municipal building (856-234-7319). Its own website, mountlaurellibrary.org, lists hours, services and membership.
Mount Laurel Day 2026 fell on Sunday, October 18, when Walt Whitman Avenue closed to traffic and about thirty food trucks and a brewery filled the Community Center and Library parking lots; crafters set up booths, and the Police, Fire, EMS, Library and Board of Elections staffed tables, with the Sensational Soul Cruisers singing soul, Motown and disco hits. Visitors parked at 10000 and 15000 Midlantic Drive and rode shuttles in, since parking at the Police Complex is not allowed.
Sports fans will also find the Carl Jensen Memorial Baseball Field at Masonville on Creek Road, lighted tennis and basketball courts on Larchmont Boulevard, and the Turnpike Memorial Field softball diamond.

Mount Laurel is a township (a Census county subdivision, not a place). Its CDC PLACES health figures are for ZIP code 08054, which covers almost all of the township.
New Jersey figures sum all 21 counties. Small-town survey estimates have wide margins of error.
Mount Laurel shares borders with Cherry Hill, Moorestown and Evesham, so a specialist in Camden County can be a short trip. Your plan list follows your home address, not your doctor’s, so a Burlington County plan has to include that Camden County practice in its network.
This is where plan type earns its keep. An HMO generally expects you to stay in network except for emergencies and urgent care. A PPO lets you go out of network at a higher cost. An HMO-POS, the type this page spotlights, sits between the two: mostly network care, with a point-of-service option that pays something for certain visits outside it.
Burlington County lists 8 HMO-POS plans for 2027 from Aetna Medicare, UnitedHealthcare and Wellcare. 3 of them carry a $0 combined monthly premium for Parts C and D, and their in-network out-of-pocket maximums run from $6,900 to $9,850. One has no drug coverage, which can suit veterans who fill prescriptions through the VA but leaves most people needing a separate Part D plan.
The point-of-service feature matters in a commuter township like this one. Read each plan’s Evidence of Coverage for which services it allows outside the network and what the coinsurance is before you count on it.
8 plans on the Burlington County list fit this group, with monthly Part C + D premiums from $0 to $115.

Mount Laurel opened a building at 562 Walton Avenue that now hosts senior classes and clubs, on the same address as the Laurel House grounds with their pavilion and volleyball courts. Parks and Recreation publishes a 2026 senior class schedule and a sign-up sheet; reservations and questions go to 856-234-0001, extension 1241, or info@mountlaurel.com.
Homeowners on a fixed income can also ask about property tax relief. The township’s tax collector page lists the state Property Tax Relief Programs line, 1-800-882-6597, and the ANCHOR program line, 1-877-658-2972, and the tax assessor keeps the deduction and exemption applications.

An older township tends to read higher on conditions that come with age. If joint care, physical therapy or orthopedic surgery is likely, compare specialist copays and whether a referral is needed, not only the monthly premium.

Burlington County. Mount Laurel Township lies entirely in Burlington County, so its addresses use that county’s 2027 Medicare Advantage list even though Cherry Hill, next door, uses Camden County’s.
An HMO-POS is an HMO with a point-of-service option that pays for some care outside the network, usually at a higher cost. Burlington County has 8 of them for 2027 (CMS 2027 Landscape file), with in-network out-of-pocket maximums from $6,900 to $9,850.

Headline counts and averages leave out Special Needs Plans. "$0 Part C premium" and "$0 combined monthly premium for Parts C and D" are counted separately; out-of-pocket limits are in-network. The 2026 to 2027 comparison counts plans with drug coverage, Special Needs Plans included. Where the crosswalk ends a plan but the same company files a similar plan under a new ID, we say so. We never estimate per-plan enrollment.
