Privacy & cookie policy

What this website collects, what it does not, and how to change your mind about any of it.

Last reviewed: October 20, 2026

The short version

This site sets no analytics or marketing cookies until you choose to allow them. The calculators run entirely in your browser and send nothing anywhere. The plan finder sends only the ZIP code you type to our own server so it can look up Medicare plans for your county, and it does not ask for your name.

When you contact us deliberately (the contact form, a phone call, a text, or an email), we use those details to help you with insurance, and for nothing else.

What we collect when you contact us

If you go on to work with us on a plan, we will need more: your date of birth, your Medicare number or Social Security number, your doctors and your prescriptions. That information is collected during the enrollment process, held under the privacy rules that apply to licensed insurance producers, and shared only with the carrier and the enrollment platform needed to process your application.

  • Your name and email address, which the contact form requires so we can reply
  • Your phone number and ZIP code, if you choose to give them
  • What you tell us in the message field
  • Your consent to be contacted, which we record with a timestamp

What the quote funnel sends

The plan finder on this site sends your ZIP code and county to our own server, which looks up the Medicare plans published for your area in the CMS public plan files. It does not ask for, and does not send, your name, contact details or any identifier.

No third-party service receives anything directly from your browser. All lookups are proxied server-side.

Cookies and similar storage

A cookie banner appears on your first visit. Nothing beyond strictly necessary storage is set until you make a choice, and analytics and marketing tags are held inert until you allow them.

  • Strictly necessary, remembering your cookie choice and keeping forms secure. These cannot be switched off and set no identifiers used for advertising.
  • Analytics, anonymous, aggregated statistics about which pages and guides people find useful. Off by default.
  • Marketing, measuring whether an advert or a social post led someone to a helpful page. Off by default.

Changing your mind

Select "Cookie settings" at the bottom of any page to change your choices at any time. Your preference is stored in your own browser, so clearing your browser data resets it and the banner will appear again.

To ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it, call (856) 727-4221 or send a message through the contact page. We will respond within a reasonable period. Records we are required to retain under insurance regulations will be kept for as long as those rules require.

Who else is involved

This website is hosted by a third-party hosting provider, which processes standard server request logs. Scheduling is handled by our external booking tool, and enrollment is completed on carrier or government platforms such as Medicare.gov. Each of those services operates under its own privacy policy.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with lead-generation companies or data brokers.

Communications

If you ask us to contact you, a licensed agent may call, text or email you about your insurance options. You can ask us to stop at any time by replying, by emailing, or by telling us on the phone, and we will.

Children

This site is intended for adults making insurance decisions. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, contact us and we will delete it.

FAQ

Common questions

Is Garden State Medicare Solutions connected to Medicare or the government?

No. Garden State Medicare Solutions is a private, independent insurance agency in New Jersey. It is not connected with or endorsed by the United States government, the federal Medicare program or any state agency.

For information on every Medicare plan in your area, use Medicare.gov or call 1-800-MEDICARE.

How do I verify an insurance agent's license in New Jersey?

Use the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance Licensee Search at www-dobi.nj.gov/DOBI_LicSearch and choose Insurance. Search by the agent's name to see whether the license is active.

You can also ask us for Jackie Layser's national producer number and look it up yourself.

How is my information used?

Only to help you with insurance. Details you send through the contact form go to our agency so a licensed agent can reply. The calculators run in your browser and send nothing, and the plan finder sends only your ZIP code and answers, never your name. We do not sell your information or pass it to lead companies.

The Privacy and cookie policy explains what is collected, which cookies are used and how to change your choices.

Does it cost anything to use this site or to work with Garden State?

No. The guides and calculators cost nothing to use, and there is no fee for a plan review. Insurance companies pay the agency a commission when you enroll, and your premium is the same whether you use an agent or not.

Do you need a consultation?
